“All Mirth and No Matter” – Keith Barnett, 2008 Juried Show Winner
Through the use of a variety of mediums, Mr. Barnett seeks to understand the conflicting and complimentary universal processes of order and chaos. While this quest brings a wide range of interests to explore, his passions of classic portraiture, still lifes and landscapes are most prominent. The results of his process are beautiful studies of the natural world, set expertly in the most appropriate medium pulled from his wide portfolio of color pencil, acrylic, watercolor or paper collage. Show Dates: Sept 3-September 26
“The Road Traveled”
“Oh the places you’ll go!” – Dr. Seuss. Our lives lead us down many roads, whether it is the one less traveled or a heavily worn path. The open road calls to some. For others, only one that matters is that road which leads home. For still others, it isn’t the physical trip through life that is important, but the creative process or spiritual journey. See how the Exhibiting Artists creatively interpret this month's theme in a wide range of mediums and disciplines. thru September 26
